Panels are 12" x 24" (2 square feet) and are sold in bundles of 5 (10 square feet).

1. Measure your wall or installation space in inches and multiply width by height to get number of square inches.

2. Divide your number of square inches by 144 to get number of square feet.

3. Round up your number of square feet to the nearest 10, and then divide by 10 to get the number of bundles you need. We recommend ordering about 10% extra to give yourself a little room for mistakes.

If you're an experienced and/or intrepid DIY-er -- you've got this!

Glueing: We recommend using PL-400 as your adhesive, available at most home improvement stores.

Cutting: You'll need to cut some of your pieces to fit along the edges of your wall. STRATUM wall panels can be cut with a circular saw with a finishing blade, just like a regular wood panel. Holes for electrical outlets, light switches, etc. can be cut out using a jigsaw. See our Tools & Supplies page for a full list of things you'll need.

What tools do I need for installation?

Standard woodworking tools like a jigsaw or circular saw are all you need. The thin profile and rigid backing make it handle just like a wood panel. For adhesive, we recommend PL-400 which is available at most home improvement stores.

How do you handle shipping damage?

We carefully pack and ship your stone panels. If any panel arrives damaged, just send us a photo and we'll replace it immediately without any hassle or argument.

Is this actually real stone?

Yes. We use 100% natural stone blocks selected from global quarries. No two panels are identical, ensuring your wall is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

Does the stone require sealing?

Our panels come presealed for durability and beauty. This saves you an extra step during installation and protects the natural texture from the start.

How thick are the panels?

Each panel is approximately 3/16" to 1/4" thick. By bonding the stone to a rigid backer, we keep it lightweight while maintaining incredible strength.
